Constantly scared

by Angela
(Lake Milton, Ohio)

I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 2 and a half years. I'm almost 16, he's almost 19.

When we first started dating everything was okay. But this past year he constantly yells at me, pushes me, and has even grabbed me by my throat. He ruined my friendship with my ex-best friend.

I'm not allowed to talk to any guys, so I go behind his back when I do. I have to go behind his back just to spend the night at my friends house's. He always tries to go through my text messages.

He constantly checks up on me; he has his friends keep tabs on me at school. He told my friend he was going to kill me, for talking to my guy friend. He gets mad if i spend the night at my aunts house. He doesn't trust me going to my dads house.

He constantly accuses me of cheating. He says my clothes make me look like I'm trying to be a slut, and trying to get guys to pay attention to me. He calls me stupid in front of his family. And if I don't have sex with him, he makes me feel bad for "turning him down".

But I'm in love with him. He's my best friend,; he's all I really have anymore. I'm afraid to lose his family, they're more of a family to me then my family is. I just don't know what to do anymore. :(

Trust me

I suggest calling the cops and leave him. That's horrible.
