I love him but I cant tell if he is abusive

Me and my boyfriend have been together for over 4 years. I love him with all my heart but lately things have been getting worse between us. He has been putting me down a lot, calling me names like whore or hoe. He calls all my friends whores too when they are married and are nice. We get into a lot of fights because he says I clean the house like a white trash women, and that I need to be perfect like him, and he will keep yelling until it is perfect. When i get really mad, sometimes I'll push him away or hit his arm and he does it right back not enough to leave marks but enough for it to hurt. Are these bad signs?

Love don't love you
by: Shady

Sweetheart, get out of it now. He will be using you as a punching bag soon enough. I have never been in an abusive relationship. I nipped it in the bud before it got started. I ended a five year relationship in a day.

One time is enough to let me know love does not hurt, whether it be physical or mental. He did test me and he got tested right back. I loved him and it took some time to get him off my mind and out of my heart. It hurt because I loved him so much. But when reality kicked in....I said I love me more. See you later...bye

This is not good. Read my life on God is my keeper, I submitted another tonight on living a nightmare. Please read them. You cannot let him do this to you, you are worth more than that.
