Wife says I have a child with someone else.

Apparently according to my wife I had a child with another woman about 15 years ago. I do know The woman in question, I have been good friends with her parents growing up, but I have never spent any time with her, I have never done anything but talk a gradual hello in passing. I have known her parents for over 30 years they had a business that I worked for them a few years. They have helped us out with whatever we needed in a pinch and are good people.

I’m pretty sure someone said something to my wife to make her think such things. She says that she wants a Paternity test to believe me. I haven’t seen or talked to this woman in probably over 10 years, she is married with 3 kids. I couldn’t bring myself to ask her for a test mostly because I am embarrassed for what my wife thinks, and what if this causes friction in her marriage. What should I do.

"You gave us counseling without making either one of us feel that you were taking sides.
You always maintained your impartiality with us. You encouraged Rita to be more assertive in stating what she wanted to get from your counseling sessions, as well as what she wanted to get from the relationship.
You taught both of us better communication between ourselves, which lead to an emotional comfort level between us that didn't exist before.
You took control of the direction of the session if things were not moving along.
Thanks so much
for helping us."
