My husband is attracted to me and cares for me but doesn’t love me

2 months ago my husband and I had a conflict, afterwards he said that he wanted to separate because he didn’t love me as much as before. Today he said that he is attracted to me, cares for me and likes spending time with me but he doesn’t love me. I don’t understand this. What is love then?
