Married couples and strip clubs

I'm 43 years old and have never been to a strip club. And I think its disrespectful to my wife if I go to one. I know she wouldn't like the idea of me watching another woman take off her clothes, I know that because she told me, but she has been 2 times in the 25 years we have been together and she knows I don't like it. But she tells me I need to just get over it and let it go.
Am I wrong for getting mad and upset and putting distance between us because of her actions?
